You grow up and grow out of the 15 year old honda ricer scene. I thought they were the only ones with double mounted spoilers. Would have thought you'd have grown out of that like 40 years ago.

Your car is tacky and I have no clue how it won. They may have voted for it.. but you made it that way. Excuse me.. .

Whoaa...easy killer.. Its just critisim .. With a wing like that you'll need to be prepared to take some. My rub it looks very tacked on, since it is mounted on your factory wing, and it has stuff adheard to the sides of it. My other rub, is large wings should be one of the last body mods, after front / rear bumper and side skirts. Finally... My wing will be remounted over the winter... We are extending the cage, and fabing new stantions that will extend all the way to the chasis.

mdracer76. I remember someone telling me there was a time when a full course meal could be had on your wing. Thought that was funny. Can only have a couple of jumbo burgers on mine and maybe a small order of fries. Actually was comtemplating on changing to a strosek wing but now I may just keep what I have...

zdatsun,

Listen, there isn't a good reason to provoke, or even respond, to comments about your car (other than "thanks") because in the end you are the one who has to drive it, so who cares what everyone else thinks? If you are going to do something different then you have to be prepared for people to talk, thats just natural about anything. No need to get defensive - its like politcs, you aren't going to win anyone over by arguing.

There are so many directions I want to take this, but the bottom line is that yeah, you won there, you like what you've got, people are confused, so who really cares? Personally I couldn't believe that you won because of the little amount of mods you have, and in the combination they are, not only because of my opinion of your wing. I would be in the same disbelief if a 100% stock Z won over every other one there...

So, to sum it up - don't take it personal & learn to deal with the criticism, its your car do what you want, the best way to handle this is to roll with the punches.

Thats the best advice I have to give. Congrats on the win.

That whole car was absolutely awesome. the ITB's only added to its awesomeness

If he was in the show he would have won hands down, but he decided not to enter.

mrpratt, you summed it up exactly what I thought I had said. If it seemed that I was coming across defensively then my mistake. I've been around too long to get upset over something so trivial. Been to many shows as a spectator and thought another entrant should have won but kept my thoughts and comments to myself. Oh well, I'm done - everybody have a nice day!!!!!!!

Toby I think your car was probably the only show worthy car from last year...well at least the only one that knew the definition of a show car.

There always seems to be an abundance of stock or very mild Z's that enter the car show, never quite figured out if there were different catagories that provoked such entries...

Yea I just got called a trophy hunter and all I was doing was showing support for the local Z club.

We do need more Z meetings around here. I never go to any of the local meets because of kids and cops. There are a ton of Z's in richmond now
