My 40D went for a swim at ZDayz, and after a few days of drying out (and being left for dead in the trunk while driving around the mountains), it's as good as new!

Canon FTW!!!

Nice!

Just an fyi, I've got my 40d, lense, and flash insured through state farm for about $30 a year. The coverage increases as needed per year according to inflation and they were not brand new when I got them insured. All they need is an appraisal from any camera store along with verification of serial numbers from the equipment. As long as it is all working again, it might be something you can do to cover it if the recent swim makes it die later.

My failed attempt at the "Bridge" photo. Nothing fancy just a Nikon point & shoot

Nice HDR!

Russ, I'm gonna have to look into that insurance. Sure would suck to lose all the money invested in a nice dSLR + lens from an accident!
