Default Z DayZ

Z DayZ was our first Z event. Since we're only 2 hours away we registered for Saturday and stopped by. It was a lot of fun and we're ready to do it again. We had the pleasure to have the green Z coupe in your pics follow us down US 129 from the Crossroads of Time store to just past Tapaco Lodge. Very nice car, very good driver, and awesome horsepower! (Following was definately his choice!) Now we need twin turbos, a custom paint job, upgraded brakes, etc, etc. It was a LOT of fun!

Our Z on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

At Fontana.

Saturday's weather on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

and Saturday afternoon on the Cherohala.

I went to Zdayz last year but this was the first year I got up to Cherohala Skyway --- beautiful. That will go on the list of things to do for next year for sure!!

Several people in my group took lots of photos up there so we should have some good ones show up on the forum in the next few days.

Arrived Thursday afternoon. The Dragon sux in the rain.

The Tree of Shame (Located at the Deal's Gap Motorcycle campground)

The cabins are the way to go. This one bedroom Willows was nice (for less than $100 per night!)

The cabins are nicely spread out.

My neighbor's Silvia ... Drool!!!

When it rains, it tends to dry up quickly. Headed up for the weenie roast. I think I was one of the few who read the instructions and brought supplies. (Looks like they weren't needed ... LOL)

At the lodge on Thursday night ...

The car wash area:

Cars parked around the dyno...

It's a beer pong thing ....

The Fontana area is absolutely beautiful. Don't wait for ZDayZ to make a trip here. It's worth it.

I tried to shoot as many other cars as possible till the battery went dead. (Wife didn't put the charger back in the camera bag so my Saturday shots were limited.)

On the way to the base of the dam for the famous "Dam Photo"

I love this 370Z!

As an ex-Z31 guy, I'm happy to see some show up!!

This car was turning heads everywhere it went.

Going for that extra angle ...

Cooler than Rico Suave ...

This guy has a hellova ride. Guess what's under his hood? (Not a V8)

'Drea and her ride ...

OK, not sure what this guy was doing ...

We were asked to move on the other side of the cars for the photo taken from the Dam.

God Daymn! That's a big damn dam!

Sweet pics everyone!! I'll try to get the rest of mine edited and throw em up here soon! The ones I've got so far..

Panoramic HDR at the dam

My Z and The Goblin lined up on top of the dam. This was at about 1am and the fog was pouring up both sides of the dam making a really cool looking tunnel!

Phreak's Angels

Win Motorsports (aka Angel Killaz)

I tried to use the flash to distract. No effect at all.

This looked clear when I took it. It was my buzzed eyes.

OK, no comment needed on this photo.
