^ I know exactly what you are talking about, low class mexican, asian, black & white ricers right? They are still here but they specially in modding cars that are 15-20 years old. However the guys in these pictures are modding fairly new late model vehicles and their taste just amazes me mate!
I try to let it go. Ive been modding cars for over 20 years. Ive done it all from working in audio to a street rod restoration shop, turbos, NA and nitrous cars. These days I just don't care what people do to their cars. Everyone has their own taste. I was once into the "JDM" parts. Im into the stock look nowadays and these crazy body kits and ridiculous rims just dont do it for me. I wont give anybody grief over their choice though.

Half those cars look ridiculous with the exception of a few. Some of them with Volks have poor taste in exterior mods and not even the Volks can save the car. Different strokes though.
