Don't take this personal but $500 for just the muffler? Nismo full exhaust in almost new condition sells for $650-700 max. This is not worth more than $200. Besides the damage cannot be fixed. The tip must be replaced there is no other way because it has a double wall. Traditional dent removal methods will not work.
The OEM midpipe does not directly bolt on to the Nismo muffler. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the stock midpipes are a bit shorter than the Nismo variation.

I see people talking that a whole brand new nismo exhaust system is like 600-700. Where is everyone find them so cheap? I am looking online and i see prices of 1000-1300. A link would be a great help! Thanks!
Sorry, I thought maybe you had an extra S-Tune midpipe. I've got an S-Tune muffler on my '08 now, using the stock HR Y-pipe and mid-pipe, with a custom-made adapter to the S-Tune muffler. Sounds and looks great, but I wanted to try an S-Tune mid-pipe to see if the sound was any different. You're correct that Nissan is not real interested in selling the S-Tune exhaust pieces individually.

Yeah, that's because the muffler is literally just around $100 cheaper than the whole exhaust system
So....What would be needed to get this thing to fit the stock pipe?? Interested if it's not too big of a hassle. Thanks!
The stock midpipes are too short to mate with the Nismo exhaust so you would have to fabricate an extension. It's really simple, any exhaust shop can modify the OEM pipe and weld the required length piping.
