The OEM midpipe does not directly bolt on to the Nismo muffler. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the stock midpipes are a bit shorter than the Nismo variation.

I am in Germany but I have a NY mailing address so shipping isn't a problem. Not really sure how much it's worth in the current conditiion. I do however know the muffler alone is only around $100 cheaper than the full catback system (the replacement muffler came from Performance Nissan and I can provide a copy of their actual quote). Of course I won't ask for anything close to that. I'm just trying to figure out how much it's worth. Perhaps $600? Too much? I'm on drugs? About right? Input would be appreciated. I'll take pics with my username and date when I get home. Thanks guys.

If I where you...

I would sell for $5-600....

seems fair to me...

the dig on the muffler can't be seen when installed...

and the tip can be replaced or fix easily...for another $100

GLWS..

Well, having an APO mailing address can be a b!tch sometimes. Most vendors won't ship if the box is too big or exceeds 70 lbs. So I went through an APO reshipping/repackaging company called APOBox.com. I've heard good things about them so I gave them a shot. Big mistake. Some idiot put the muffler in the same flimsy box with the midpipe. When I opened the boxy, the midpipe flange was literally on top of the muffler without any protection . Not only was the muffler damaged, but the catback system took almost 2 months to get here. For reference, my Nismo wheels with tires took 6 days from the time the seller shipped it, and the whole Akebono brake kit (calipers/rotors/pads, etc) took 8 days. Oh yeah, this company also refused the original shipment of the package from the vendor because the box was "too big" . WTF!!! Their job is to repackage oversized/overweight packages and ship to APO addresses!!! In all fairness, they replaced the muffler right away. Whatever, they still suck. F*ck, this still pisses me off and makes me want to drink ...

When the exhaust is installed you can really see the top part of it. i have the same one. you can always get a muffler guy to cut off tips and put new ones on. good luck

By any chance do you have the mid pipe for this? Or know where you can just buy them?
