How does your car sound with the HFC and midpipe? i have 3in topspeed but thinking itll be to loud with midpipe. whats your opinion?.
Would the motordyne ypipe change it alot or very little? i have stock cats.

I mean, I love the way it sounds... Motordyne gets a lot of good reviews. Check through my posts, I have some clips up of my car with everything on. With stock cats on, the XYZ + Resonator could be a good set-up for you- I don't know of any other resonated Y-Pipes for our cars, and it should really mellow out the sound compared to the stock Y.

Yeah, I am still running stock headers which help to keep the VQ sound, but I have ART Pipes which by many reviews, have a very quieting effect vs. straights and HFCs. I swapped everything at once so I can't really compare each piece.
I have to say though, my vids don't really do it justice. I'm waiting for the weather to get better here so I can do a proper flyby with a friend's high-tech equipment. It's really beautiful in person.

nope, but what i'm saying about the xyz is still valid as far as comparing it against the stock y-pipe. adding in the extra resonator to your exhaust will change the sound.

The XYZ has a 2.5" inlet and 3" outlet, so if you still have a stock Y-Pipe this should be a louder set-up. It's also the only resonated Y-Pipe for the 350z I've seen.
