Hi there guys, up for sale is an OEM muffler out of a 09 GTR. The muffler is cut right before the y divider so you can use it entirely. Asking 225 shipped for the muffler (cause it is heavy) 175 if sold locally. Each PAIR of tips is 100 bucks shipped as well. I have provided some measurements as well just see the pics.

how heavy is it? and whats the diameter at the spot where is it cut?

 

Muffler by itself is 19.4 lbs , the inlet tube seems to be 2.75" and it grows to 3" at the beginning of the y divider so u can basically put a 3" pipe as an inlet.

Why would someone do this?

 

Because they don't want to pay 1.5k for a Heavy overpriced exhaust to obtain 10 HP out of it. And they want a different tone than everybody else. I believe the car on that video has test pipes and no resonator. So someone that has skills can take this muffler and fit it to a 350z. This muffler is a straight thru design making it a lot better than the oem. Not to mention it weights a lot less than the OEM as well.

 

for those who cannot afford GTR, you can say that you have GTR exhaust in a Z..iono

 

Yep that too, anyway some people also like the oem look for a sleeper look.

BTW its not an exhaust its just the muffler.
