Remember yungthrowed over on Driver (the dude that was selling all of those sets for the "deploying military guys" in the same area)? AKA vqdrifternm? Same exact pipes he tried to sell me less than a month ago. Looks like he finally gave up on the forums and went to Craigslist.

Don't worry Sickboy, they're real as confirmed by Tony. Just obtained through very shady means.

I bought these from a guy in El Paso on Craigslist. He gave me the bag of bolts in a Motordyne bag. I've never heard of this guy in the same area nor did I get these.by "shady means"

I want to clarify that I don't believe Jimbo is the same dude that was scamming over on Driver... and furthermore Tony has already confirmed that the pipes are legit.

OP and Buyer, didn't mean to cause y'all trouble, just get a kick out of how many avenues the original scammer went through to sell his scammed pipes.

For the record the scammer in question never sold any knockoff pipes, nor does Tony (owner of MD) believe there are any in existence. The scammer was taking advantage of a returns loophole which has since been fixed by Tony.

 

Sick, if you want to double-check, you can send a PM to Tony (Hydrazine) with the link to this thread. He's normally very quick to respond and confirm.

He's confirmed this set is real within the last month or so.

 

Thanks for bringing this to light. I've asked the op to refund my Paypal as I really don't want to be part of any potential "shady" dealings. I read the thread you created on driver and I have a feeling that the op may have picked up a set unknowning the background behind them.
