Might be interested if it's still up in a couple days. Have any sound clips?

Sorry, no sound clips. We drove it on the street many times with the delete on......not loud at all until you put your foot in it, seems the cats and center muffler do most of the sound duty.

I built something similar only without the extension piece, just a short turndown to attach to the mid-pipe. Sounded fantastic as long as the car still has the stock cats on it. Yeah it's loud at WOT but not any more so than some exhaust systems, and sounded very nice IMO with both the stock and my tanabe midpipe.

With test pipes though, it's quite un-bearable. Sounds very racecar-ish at speed, but is just not quiet at any time and too much to deal with even on a dedicated track car.

Thanks Joe....your experience with a muffler delete is exactly the same as ours.

take 20 minutes out of your day and unbolt your muffler and seperate the pipes and you'll get an idea what it sounds like.

Are you guys going to be at the Toledo Pro? If it's still around then, I may take it off your hands. Then again, I've blown 97-99db at Dixie and D.C.

Nice to see you guys taking it to Erik. You've got that RX-7 really working right now!

Hey Mike ,yes we are registered for Toledo. Will bring it if still available....On our cars I don't think the deletet would have had a sound problem....but the sound pressure restrictions were not in place at that time so I could be wrong.
Thanks for the compliment...the RX7 is almost sorted and Carter is driving very well. Jim T

Does this bolt up in the same spot as the G35 when you take the muffler off?

Good question....I am not sure if the Z and G35 share the same exhaust/muffler connection but suspect they are similar if not the same. See pic for the Z.
Maybe another forum member knows and can help ??????????
