Then do some reading before you start spending money on your car.

How about we not be a jack *** to him and simply answer a easy question....we were all there at one point. DE is the type of engine in the 350z along with HR and REDLINE. Yes he does have a point you should definitely do some research before spending money like he said if you dont know even a basic thing like this.

Just saying they are DE headers doesn't say anything. That's like saying I have a DE supercharger for sale...

Why do so many people have to be like this on forums especially to new guys? I have been on so many forums for so many other performance cars and it is always the same. Just too many people that want to bash someone. If you don't have any positive information to give, don't comment. I just don't get it. Move on to a thread that you can add to!!! Just doesn't make any sense especially when we have all been there. Probably why this statement was made, he wasn't happy after he spent the money for headers that did nothing for his otherwise stock Z.

I have the same question; what brand name? I know headers give you next to no gains but that isn't why I am interested. I want the sound. Later with some other mods I have in mind, they will make a difference. I will install them myself with my son as a learning experience which I am trying to teach him as much as I can. We have done a '92 Mustang which will whip most any Z on here and now I want to teach him about other cars as I now have a Z.

So...can the OP answer the question; what brand?

Sorry about the rant but too many idiots that can just move on to another thread but chose to post something stupid and bash a person that is new to the car (as I am also as I have only had my roadster for three weeks).

they look suspiciously like the cx racing headers from ebay, due to the look of the flange welds/collector and the fact that they are unequal length. not worth anywhere near $200 imho. maybe half that...maybe.....
