Damn Ed does seats are tight! I see you got the seat back to a good enough position. Tilting the passenger seats shouldnt be a big issue. Most of the time passengers get in and dont adjust! The only reason for tilting the seat would be to get into the glove box, but you can just slide forward.

Damn, that looks hawt! Good job, and now we actually have proof that this can be done. LOL.

Are you gonna research if you can fool that sensor into thinking the top is down so you can power tilt the passenger seat?

I am able to control the angle of the seat with the top up, don't think there's a sensor. There's also a control on the back of the seat for adjusting the angle...

There is a small switch on the back of the seat is for disabling the seat from automatically leaning forward & back. On the Roadster, when the top is opened the passenger seat automatically leans forward a few inches while the top mechanism is in motion. Once the top is down the seat goes back to it's original position. The same happens when the top is put up. The small switch on the back enables/disables this feature. The large switch on the back also tilts the seat all the way forward with one press up (such as to reach something in the glove box) and also moves it back by holding the button down. If the small switch is set to disabled (up), the large switch won't work.

The tilt function of the passenger seats does not work since the ZR power cable ( from under the seat ) is bigger than the coupe in addition the ZR uses a white power box which supplies all the power functions for the seat. The coupe connection is not the same size as the ZR so the only power function I have is to slide the seats foward or back however if I could find some kind of adapter then I can use the functions of the passenger seat or if I could have someone maybe rewire it to work I'd be ok.....also the ZR ventilated seats are not as comfortable as the coupe leather seats but I still like them

nothing yet but the tilt is perfect so as for now I don't need the tilt. I can't say I would not want it to work but for now it is ok..

Hey Ed 718,

Could you comment on where you got the orange shift boot from and how the colour compares to the seats.

Thanks,
