Default Advice wanted for installing Veilside V1 lip

My front bumper is off the car for some other stuff that I am doing. Is it easier to install the lip with the bumper off the car or will it be easier to line everything up with the bumper on the car?

Also, any tips on the order that I should do things to get it properly applied.

Do a search for instructions install or contact mvpmotorsports. Theres a pdf file that shows u where to file the edges of lip so it doesn't crack when you put on...its a known problem with the fitment.

i believe this is only for the fiberglass versions.

i think its easier to install the lip with the bumper on the car.

To me this is a no-brainer - put the lip on while the bumper's off.

I put my urethane one on without too much trouble, but still had to do some bending and clamping to get the underside bolt holes lined up and no gaps in the 3M taped outside seam.

I think you'll have a lot more bumper flex to play with and adjustment latitude if it's off the car.

glad you got it

there is nothing to it man...no shaving or trimming of anykind

you'll see when you put it on the urethane is a really tight fit even withought the mounting hardware.

Any questions, you know how to find me
