i was wondering if anyone knows how much the cost would be to buy new stock HID bulbs? and also, how much are people ppl willing to pay for used stock bulbs?

 

List price from Nissan is $215.45 each on the HID bulbs, although almost all dealerships(like the one I work at) mark up Nissans list price to make money...we sell ours at $259.00 each, but I can get them wholesale around $172.00 each if you are interested.

So what all do i need in my 04 base to make my lights exactly like the higher end models?

 

You can go on ebay and put in HID bulbs, there is a guy who will sell a pair of bulbs for like 80 dollars, brand new. I got a pair like 3 months ago, and it is the exact identical to the bulbs that come in a stock Z HID housing. I think the thing has a plus sign next to the number, just a higher color than the 4300k.

 

i agree, ebay would be the wise choice. make sure that you get insurance and also make sure that the sellers feedback is good.
