Default Brushed aluminum fuel filler door on a Z?

Just curious what you guys think about a brushed aluminum fuel filler door on a Z? Has anyone put one on their car yet? Is it even available? Any opinions on how it would look? Personally I kind of think it would look nice especially if it matched the door handles.

I'm sure some of our more talented photochoppers could show us. I think it could look nice, especially if it matched the handles. The problem is the compound curves at that spot. It could be a fairly hard project.

Darn, you beat me to it. WIth the compound curves of the Z's fuel filler door, you'd need a laser 3-D measurement system and a 5 or 6-axis CNC machining center to match it. THe only other way would be a new rear end with a flat spot for a machined door. Either way it reminds me too much of those ugly *** new eclpises to consider it.

I think it would look pretty cool, but you'd have to work the metal around the door to get one to sit properly. It would get to be more expensive than it's worth.

Be prepared for a deluge of inane 'rice' flames.
