BOOM goes the VIZAGE
That kit + winter = not surprised.
(By the way, I have the same kit, but I don't think it would last long in a colder climate).
Good news is that it can be fixed (at least I don't see why not).

it's not the cold that was the problem, it was the big chunk of ice hidden under the fluffy snow that is the problem. other wise this kit works just fine in the cold, i ran it last winter with out problems.
i think part of the problem is bad install (cause i think the kit was stressed to begin with) and then just not having a winter car =<, but thats ok i will either get it fixed of just pick up a different or new bumper.

it happens but thanks for your concern, this bumper already had some small stress cracks in it from faulty install. so i was going to either replace it or repair it sometime in the summer, its just going to have to look like crap till then i guess.

hehe i tell yah what when you hit snow that is above 6 inches it shoots up into the wind shield. i wish my front bumper was made of a stronger material, carbon, or alum or something then i would just have a little ding and a lot of snow.
things like this always work out, it just means i'm going to have to call a bunch of body kit makers, or look to make a one off kit or something, who knows.. just means that turbo is that much futher away. =(

i know exactly how u feel.. this was my first time driving my z in the snow... and the other day we were hit with friggin 11 INCHES of snow in chicago. driving the z in a streeet with inches of snow in it... i was praying i would make it home without my new car getting jacked up. after losing control 3 times, i made it home with no damage. THIS WAS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME MY Z EVER SEES SNOW! i will not drive this car when it is snowing by any means.
Kernel - how does your z drive in the snow with the blizzaks? i was considering getting a set of 17s, but i didnt know how well it would perform in chicagos snow.

with blizzaks i don't have really any tractions problems its just the ride height that gets me. but hey its a fun time to either make this really strong or who knows..
anyway i was thinking maybe carbon fiber painted silver, its light and strong. but i will have to convince some place to make a front bumper that goes with the rest of my kit.
i might just have to call up JPusa and special order something.
