Thumbs down just got the CF lip cover from Z store and....

IT SUCKS A**.
i am referring to the CF or CF look-alike plastic cover for the OEM bumper front lip...many of you probably have seen this on courtesy nissan selling for ~$200. Anyways, i saw this one on "zcarparts.com" aka "the Z store" :
http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merch...y_Code=BSC10A.
they claimed it's real CF and the price was cheaper than courtesy, so i decided to give it try. BIG mistake....i got the piece today and the fit was HORRIBLE. i'm gonna try to return this piece of sh*t tommorrow...i am gonna be pissed if they try to give me a hard time about it.
so, a friendly warning to everybody interested in buying this piece...DON'T

Sorry to hear that.

You should try blue batmobile

He offers an overlay pretty much identical to the one that you bought. And it's probably 1/4 of the price.

SSC, can you please post a picture of what you got? If it is from EVO-R.Net it is made of real carbon fiber. Fitment on this item is perfect. From www.zcarparts.com 's picture it is real carbon fiber. If you look at the sunlight reflection. Below I can show you the fitment on this item. Make sure you have it place in the right direction. As far as the rear strut bar cover bad fitment problem was only for 2 out of 90. We have taken care of all those problem. EVO-R.net will be gald to replace any problem items. Thanks!

Hi SSC, the fitment should be perfect, like what JDMZ33 suggest, maybe you had the cover upside-down when you try to fit it. PLEASE take some pictures and share with us to show where the bad fitment is, thank you!

Here is another picture from another very satisfying customer who bought the exact same Evo-R CF lip cover. Thanks!

so the problem is that i can't get the darn thing to seat all the way. if you look at the part carfully, you will notice that the curvature of the piece and the curvature of my bumper is different. also, my bumper seems like its too big for the piece...hence not seating all the way.

again, that is as far as it will go...my bumper starts to flex at that point.
i have a 2005...do you think there were some minor changes to the 05 bumpers that may be causing this problem or did i just get a defective piece?

SCC, By looking at how you put the cover. You have it on the right side. Make sure you lone up the top part first. Please push it upward. You see how your side edge. Center part is lower than the bumper edge. That means it is not line up right. Look at my installed pic. Both should be line up evenly.

SSC, sorry. I guess we both were posting at same time. I only saw your first picture, then I see the second. It seems you have already push it all the way to the top. We have only put them on 04, never try 05. I wonder if it is like you said 05 is a bit different?

well, what do you think?....i lined up everything, but the thing wont seat all the way...and i doubt that this piece requires any sort of force to install.
i guess i will be returning it to the Z store...dissappointed, b/c the piece looks nice...if only it would have fit
