That is possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard. How is a light up door sill rice? Some cars come with these as a standard thing. It's probably really nice to have at night since we have no floor illumination. Makes it easier to see the sill so you don't trip over it.

 

That's really poor fitment.
Do they have any other lighting colors?

 

so because some cars come with puddle lights should we make them in colors for our z?

 

Sorry for taking so long, but I was out of state for the last 2 weeks on a business trip. Finally got a chance to finish the sills today. Here is a comparison of my crappy sill vs. OEM aluminum sills. The fitment problem is now pretty obvious.


Wiring schematic, it's a Y connection


The negative goes to door switch. I carved away the wire cover and soldered the wires together then used some electrical tape

Positive goes to fuse box (red wire)
Compare the fitment to my previous post. Much better fit.

Still no tripod, so the pictures look like crap. I love the look, very classy without being ricey. I guess each to thier own.

 

That looks pretty good. If they had blue or white I would get them.

 

Do we get a free set of amber wiper light squirters for free too?

 

LOL...we don't even have wiper squirters! Well, we do but they're on the wipers.

looks like you put the sills too far back. as the picture above shows.

 

They only come in amber.
Otherwise a lot more people would buy them.
When I first drove the car at night and saw how everything was amber it was really kool. But now it's not that great. I wish everything was blue now.
