Here are some pics of the new LED door Sills from Unlimited Tuning. Overall design appears to be of high quality, with the exception that they did not account for the curvature in the car.
Before

Installed and applying force. The back side of the sill are double sided tape. I let this sat overnight.

Finished, but with flash on

This is the curvature I was complaining about. See double sided tape peeling.

Picture taken without flash in dark garage. If I find a tripod I will post better picutures, but this is the best I can do holding still.

It does not curve with the OEM door sill ! That's not good. It will become loose anytime!

Dood, i think you need the factory aluminum sill plates. They lay over the factory aluminum sills as per the instructions.
I received my set, although not installed yet, I test fit them fine.

They do look badass lit up!!

May I ask how you wired them up?
Thanks

Wiring is pretty simple. + goes to any power souce and - goes to the door switch. Your interior lamp turns on by closing a ground switch when the door opens.

Where in the instruction did it say to use only with factory Aluminum sill plate?

The way they don't curve ruins it! That's all I have to say. :-)

zridert,

you have ordered the wrong plates. These are for the OEM aluminum sill plates.

There is 2 different plates available. We offer these plates for month and dont have any problems with them...if the customer order the right ones.

Ask Unlimited Tuning for the right ones....

The Polished LED Sill plates we are offering requires the factory OEM aluminum sill plates.
The LED plates overlay the factory aluminum plates therefore you MUST have the factory OEM aluminum sill plates.

We apologize for any confusion.

Thanks.

No worries, I'm the idiot. Just ordered the factory aluminum sills. Quick question, now that I have to rip it out, will some sort of epoxy hold ok? Thanks, will post more pics when finished.

OEM aluminum sills are a MUST. Thats incorrect.

The plates for plastic OEM door sills have 2 squares left and 3 right from the Z.

So they will fit on these sills and the customer dont need to buy the OEM aluminum sills for extra costs.

I saw the ones you're talking about for the plastic sills.
They looked kinda strange to me with only 2 vs. 3 squares.

Back then I paid $62 for the factory aluminum sills from courtesyparts.

Other than the curving mistake (which I assume you will fix soon since you ordered the aluminum sills) that looks awesome!!

I appreciate all the contructive criticisim, and I just ordered OEM aluminum sill from UltimateZ for $60. They do look awesome, and I want to get them perfect...$60 for OEM sills is a small price to pay. Thanks

Sure, but it'll have to wait until the weekend when I have some free time. I did not take pictures of the wiring on the passenger side, but I'm planning on doing the driver side this weekend.
