Default Squeaky Seat Problem - Help?

Anybody had a problem with their seat squeaking like hell? Mine was moving/clicking and began squeaking like crazy. I took it in for the feathering and had the seat "fixed" at the same time. Then it squeaked worse. I took it back in and they said they greased the washers, it was silent for ~1.5 months. Now it's beginning to squeak again. The seat does not move anymore but it definitely makes a racket. I can cause it to do it at will by sitting in the seat, and moving my right leg from side to side. I think I'll switch service advisors if I can because mine always responds with "well, we put the washers in I don't know what else we can do..."

Anybody had the same/similar issue or have any suggestions on where to look for resolution?

Had the same problem a year ago, my dealer took the car to an auto upholstery shop and they fixed it under warranty.

"well, we put the washers in I don't know what else we can do..."

What a jack ***...

why dont these ******** get fired for responses like that? I mean if I told that to my customers, or coworkers I would be fired!

Clearly he can replace the track, the seat, the washers, re-grease it. What a lazy piece of crap. And it seems that 90% of these guys are like that.

This is why I still have a shifting seat, grinding 6th, and a gas tank that doesnt take gas,... I hate taking it in and fighting with these guys.

Damn. Try another dealer. The one near my house is really great at dealing with this crap. They haven't given me any hassles so far and I had them take care of 5-6 TSB's.

There is a fix in one of the forums, and it explains how to very well, do a search you will find the answer, I remember you have to take the seat out but do a search mine just started so it wont be long before I will be doing the same thing but read the forum 1st because you can mess it up very easily somthing about hte airbag or a sensor in the seat on track model. Good luck

I did a serch and all that cropped up was the old seat click fix.

I'm going to take it in but this guy is just a dumbass. The service manager is actually fantastic, it's just my particular advisor is a moron. If I get the same answer again, I'm going to the dealer closer to my house. May do that anyways.

I don't care if it takes replacing the seat, that's their problem.
