in the top picture, there are actually 9 other LED's. here's a diagram of them.



the bottom picture is the board that lights up and receives the signal from the buttons on the side of the pod.
left - dimmer controls.
right - digital readout controls.

 

What was wrong with your original pod?

 

the mileage LCD has the numbers all blurry. they kind of "bleed over" into each other

 

Can you measure the size of the LEDs? LxWxH in mm?

 

i will be able to in a few days. i'm buying a voltmeter so i can measure everything on the board. check back in a few.

 

i finally got the voltage of the LEDs...

pre-resistor = 7.3V
led = 1.9V

i ordered some sample blue smt leds and my new gauge faces should be here in a couple days. i talked to one of the guys at nrauto.com on the phone. i might be able to just put blue LED's on the board, and not have to worry about the film. the LED's could maybe override it somewhat. i'll be testing and stuff this comming week.

nah, goto www.lsdiodes.com they have SMD there for $0.45!!! and you dont have to order in bulk. its awesome. i got all the test led's i need shipped for $9.95. best price i've seen anywhere. i got the gauge faces from www.nrauto.com

 

much nicer than my old honda's cluster that's for sure.....
if you need a nismo cluster, we have one more!
