HELP- Veilside questions
I really want the veilside kit- BAD
Does anyone have any idea (ballpark figure) of what the total cost of the body kit + painting + installation would be? DO NOT FACTOR INTO THE EQUATION EXHAUST OR MUFFLER - I could give two ***** about adding 6 HP - I'm talking body kit only - not including wheels or rims either- keeping the nissan rims/wheels
Could there be a problem matching the exact 350 Z paint on the body kit? Anyone know a painter that can be trusted for a job like this on the east coast?
Finally- they offer Carbon fiber or FRP
- what is FRP and is Carbon fiber that much better and worth paying extra for?

NYCZ-
Try contacting one of the dealers listed on the Veilside site
Depending on what color you are referring to, you may have difficulty matching some of the Z paints. Especially, the Daytona Blue, Le Mans Sunset, or any of the metallic paints. More than likely, to find someone that can match the more difficult paints will be expensive, if not difficult.
As for FRP or CF, the main difference is weight. FRP stands for Fiber Reinforced Plastic. You may also see CFRP Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic. The CF will be lighter, and possibly stronger in one axis. The question of cost is for you to decide, how much does weight matter to you. If you want higher performance, go with the CF.
Good luck with your search and keep us posted. I am sure others will agree, we want pictures if buy it.

FYI, I have been speaking to Takaya Nakagawa @ Veilside Japan & he tells me that they are still refining the body kit.
They should have everything ironed out by early December for shipping to dealers. Yen price is posted on the Japan website.
Good luck
