Sam, your car looks incredible.. we are very pleased to have been involved in setting your car up with the new headlamp modifications. Its been a long trek, but here are the final pictures of your headlamp conversion -- I figure you and the others on this forum would enjoy the new images of your lamps:

Full gallery shown here:

All of our pending orders were completed and shipped out today, you should have gotten e-mail notification of your shipment. HID-spec lamps went 2-day air, Halogen-spec lamps were sent via ground.

Oh, be sure to check out your packing slip, invoice and stickers are inside.

GOOD LUCK!

Here are images of the black housing halogen-spec LED headlamp, they are SO cool:

http://clearcorners.com/products/nissan/350ZX3/h_lamp4/

We've had a lot of people inquire about these, they are just very unique. The yellow bulbs and LEDs match much better than the white LEDs, this is why we suggest going with amber for halogen-spec lighting assemblies, regardless if its a 350Z or an older NSX. Halogen lighting needs yellow to match, HID needs white to match.

If anyone needs a set of halogen-spec lamps, I would hop on this deal. Sam is a very honest person to do business with and the lights he has are absolutely flawless. I am sure he is willing to sell them for a very fair price.

Good luck Sam!

I hate to bring up this old thread, let alone a thread like this.. but I am having problems resolving a payment issue with our customer, Sam Patel (amai21) -- the starter of this thread and located in New Braunfels, Texas.

Here is the story, so the folks on this forum have a brief understanding of what occured.

Sam wanted his HID-spec Z33 headlamps converted, he had a new set mailed to us and we modified them for him. The headlamps he sent us, however, were the wrong set -- they were not HID-spec, they were halogen. He had purchased and sent us the halogen headlamps thinking they were HID. We had already begun modification and were finalizing the conversion. When we told him that he had sent us the wrong headlamps, we both agreed that the best thing to do would be to buy a separate set of new HID-spec lamps, and modify those as well. He paid for one conversion + the cost of the OEM HID-spec headlamps. And of course, he paid for the halogen-spec lamps which he sent to us. However, he did NOT pay us for the second conversion.

I didnt have a problem with this. Being that he waited patiently for us to modify everything, I allowed him to pay us later for the second set that we converted. So, we basically sent out 2 pairs fully modified -- he still owes us that final balance for the halogen-spec conversion.

I dont want to make a big deal over this. Up to this point, he's been a good guy to work with. However, he is really bad at responding to emails and phonecalls. After many emails/voicemails without a response, I stated that I would post this information on the forum so that other fellow Z owners and vendors dont deal with the same unfortunate situation that we've had to deal with. This was in April.

Last we spoke in April he told us that he would try to sell them and pay us, but that has not happened. I even offered for him to send us the lamps back to us, and we would pay him for the OEM halogen-spec headlamps. Atleast this way, we'de have a set on display at our office or we'de be able to sell them.

Its now almost July and he has not responded to my previous e-mail written 10 days ago. Like I said, we're a small business and we havent had major issues with any of our Z customers. Its just a shame when things like this happen.

I still would like to do my best to resolve this, whether it means him paying in his final balance of 870 or just sending us the modified lamps. He claims they are still boxed and packed as we sent them. If thats the case, just mail them back to us and we'll refund you for the cores.

Sorry to waste bandwidth like this, I just hope it saves others from having a similar unfortunate experience.

Thank you,
Mike / ClearCorners.Com

First of all, as everybody knows how Mike keeps his word on his turnaround time on the headlight conversions. I cannot and will not trust him on sending me the money if I send out the headlights to him. Another thing I would like to mention is that if I didnt go out and buy a new pair of headlights, I would have been been stuck NOT driving my car for 4 months. Taking it in public is not going to help you a bit. Send me the money or accept COD.
