I'm planning to get my windows tinted on the car this weekend, and I have a couple of questions that maybe some of you can answer:

1. Does the tint last? I've heard that it cracks, is this true? If so, will I need to get it replaced?

2. How much should I expect to pay?

3. I think someone said the door panels need to be removed when the windows are tinted? If so, do I need to tell the window tinter this, or is it the same with all cars?

 

The door panel does not have to be removed, but the installer will have to hold the button in to keep the window up. A strong piece of tape will do. As for the tint cracking, I have had no problem with the tint that I have used on my last 2 cars and now my Z car. As long as you use a good qaulity tint you will jhave no problems - I use 3m tint. As for price - expect to pay $135-$160 for all the windows. I also had a 6" strip put at the top of my winshield to block some of the sun. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!
