Default need ballast for my hid enth. model

dealer stated i need the entire headlight assembly replace (cost about $800). they can't figure out why my hid is halogen-like.

i just recieve new hid bulbs from a z guy on this board. so now i think the ballast is not providing enough current to light up my bulb.

does anyone here know where a i can find a ballast to replace my oem?

this would be on my passenger side.

thx

stop viewing and atleast post a reply

does anyone know why my right side, hid, is kinda yellowish when i turn the light on?
i got a brand new hid bulb from a z member and even switch out my left to right side...STILL NO GO.

is the ballast defective or ignitor? or is it something else?
what is causing this to become halogen-like color when i turn the light on?

if the bulb is new hids have a burn in period of about 20 hours give or take. the bulb will appear yellow and should become whiter (bluer) in time. Is this a brand new bulb? If so i would give it a week or so. When i work for infiniti i remember reading this somewhere, if anyone knows different please corect me.

Above is correct. Some people say the longer you use them the whiter/brighter they get.
