I am having a difficult time putting the HID bulb(original) back into the headlight unit, any member willing to share some tips to help me.
I took off the HID low beam bulb from the head unit by loosen the clamps. Then when I try to put the bulb back in, I had a difficult time getting the clamps to tighten down the bulb.
I notice the HID bulb's base has a semi-circular and a square cutout that should match up with the base head unit, I made sure they're matched up, but the clamps seems to be preventing the bulb to slide in properly, it's almost like the clamps are in the way?!?
Sorry I don't have pics with me to show this.
Anyone who has success with putting HID bulbs back into the headlight unit, any tips on dealing with those clamps?
Thanks in advance.

Before you removed the bulb, there was a metal piece holding the bulb in place. It was a metal wire kinda shaped like a "U".
Did you remove this completely? If so, did you make sure to put it back on the right way?
-edit- Wait, the metal clamp turns outwards, you know that right? You unclamp it and turn it so that you can remove the bulb. Then when you put the new bulb in, you put the clamp back.
If worse comes to worse, check the other headlight to see exactly how the bulb should be placed.

Thanks for the reply. Replacing the bulbs should be a simple task, I must have overlook something, making it more difficult than it is.
The original U-shaped metal clamps are screw down at one end along with the ground wire, and I did not unscrew it, so the U clamps are positioned as it should be. I'm guessing there is some trick on inserting the bulb back while getting the U clamp to hold the base of the bulb.
Sorry the pics are at my home PC, I will post them to better explain once I get home.

It is easy the screw actually is what holds the clamp down.
You need to position the clamp to go in slot with screw and putting grounding strap to hold on to clamp and screw HID will be secure
