The hood is different from Seibon's hoods because the fitment wont be off and vents are different. The seibon vents are really big as well as the grill to me looks pretty tacky IMO.
Veliside hoods are different because they have 3 different type of vents and they are not offered in carbon fiber. Veilsides hoods on the two middle lines of the hood are bumped up insted of suken in.

I like! Is the hood prone to flexing? My friend has a CF hood for his Z32, and it flexes easily as if it's going to get blown away when we have the hood propped up. It gets pretty windy here and it takes two guys to prevent the hood from "flying" off the car.
350zenophile, the raised center look is an optical illusion in that pic. the center is exactly like our factory hood. there is no raised cowl center........i thought this as well at first glance, the dark lines of the recess around the center area give it that illusion...
i like the hood alot!

I'll be honest here the weight savings over stock are not going to be much.
The stock hood is aluminum and is super light and I would say this hood is going to be only about 5-7lbs lighter.
We wanted this made because both our cars running superchargers and the JGTC vents free up some heat from the bay.
The main reason are making this hood is for function. The 350Z community needs a hood that cools the hot engine bay and has a simple design.
We are offering the hood in colored Carbon Kevlar as well (Silver, Red/Black, Blue/Black, Blue, and Red)
Also the hood is going to be available in fiberglass.
A production hood should be ready by next week for test fitting.
I will hopefully have pics up by next Friday.

thanks.
BTW...I was browsing through the Internet when I came accross the Hasemi Motorsports hood which looks similar to the one you are producing (i.e. position of vents & vent angle). Will it be safe to assume that your hood will look just like the Hasemi hood?

The idea is the same with a few slight differences.

In any case definitely would like to see this fitted.
