Anybody have the Cwest Carbon Fiber Kit. What do you think. Pics?

 

I used to have the full CF C-West kit. I personally loved it. The kit fits perfectly, like oem, it's great. The weave is pretty good too. It's a clean looking kit. CWest stuff is very very nice

 

Do you know where I could purchase a kit?

 

Currently CWest is not available in the US. The direct importer for CWest was Motorex, and they recently shut down, so there is no direct way of getting CWest here. CWest is supposed to be opening up a new loction here or a direct importer here in the US soon, so when that's set up we'll be able to get CWest parts for you.

You can order it from Japan, but it takes forever

 

Are there any other companies that do CF kits that you know of? I may just have to buy a standard kit like the wingswest and get it painted. The problem is not good paint shops around my area.

I got a C-West full CF lip kit (5-piece), and they are the weight of a piece of cardboard. my gf could pick up each piece even the side skirts with only 2 fingers, and she is tiny! Anyways no pics sorry, as i am in europe at the moment and using my stupid laptop, but its really well made, and took me 3 months from ordering to receiving. I am located in vancouver canada, so I went through the sole distributor in Toronto. (BC Auto Designs - ask for Bell Chan - owner). I paid $2200cdn, so just a heads up. It's really worth it. There are only a few cars with that kit on the street, and I think I'm the only one with it in my city. It's simple and follows the natural body lines, yet aggressive and different in a conservative way. Slap on a seibon VT hood like I have, and u're set. Good luck.

I have the Stillen CF hood for my Super Charger. I Plan to do a little research this weekend to see if anyone has one. 350zforums.org sells them.

This might be a stupid question but I'm sick of the rock chips on my OEM front bumper. Are CF bumpers susceptible of getting rock chips?

 

yea just like anyother bumper... but the gel coat is a little thicker i've found so when you do get one you dont notice as much... that and sharpie (permanent marker) is a great touch up color for carbon
