Brand new to forum....a ? about smoked lenses
I have an '04 Silverstone and really like the look of the smoked lenses. Is there any real difference between actual smoked lenses and the smoked tint lay-overs for the lenses?
Also...for the actual smoked lenses...how difficult are they to install?
Thanks for any info.

I haven't seen the tinted overlays in person, but i liked the idea of having the real thing better so that's what i did.
One side is easy to install, u can do it from under the car an just remove most of the splash guards. The passenger side tho is a PITA to do thanks to the washer fluid bottle. If you have the right tool, it's do-able, otherwise it's easier to remove the bumper. It took me 5min for driver's side... 30min for the passenger's side haha.

Where were you able to find the actual lenses in a smoked version? I've looked but have had little succes other than the smoked side markers.

The actual smoked lense? Alot of times ppl refer to them as the "smoked side markers" as well. I got mine from... courtesynissanparts.com, great place. Also very reliable place is performancenissanparts.com... a few of the guys who work there are on the forums as well and are great guys.
And yea, that's my Z on my page... The orange stock-looking one tho, not the fully-modded with ings bodywork at the very first page
