Smile just got window tinted =)

Just got my window tinted. Thank Moodie for the reference.
Did HP Charcoal 22% back and 32% side.
I'll take some pictures when I get home... smoked looks very good on a silverstone.

Cool Wait till it dries! It'll get a little darker!!

Glad I could help! Drying is a pain in Winter though! Let's see some pics of your tinted car and the meet on Sunday!

I end up redoing the side window tint again cause there were lints that got caught in it. Juan was pretty good about it. Setup a new appointment and took care of it.
If anyone like the reference, PM Moodie or I.

Now just have to wait for the side window to dry again....

Yes, the rear strut is still visible even at night time when you're standing right next to it. From a far, it depends on the available light source.

With the limited amount of visibility already incorporated into the Z, I think I'd probably go with 32% on all the windows to make it safe. Also, adding the little circle mirrors onto your existing side mirros is an excellent aide for changing lanes and seeing traffic behind you, and in your blind spots.

heheheh, I just came from defensive driving, the worst 6 hours of my life. but anyway. those little circle mirrors were discussed, and they skew the image too much to be of use. and Id agree.

the best thing is to just set your mirrors properly, not many people know what the right way is, but if you do, your blind spot will be greatly reduced. and if your not sure, save yourself alot of headache and look.

I've used these mirrors on my car for about 4 years now and I'll definitely put them on the Z. They've saved me from changing lanes at the wrong time on more than a few occasions. Yes, they might skew the image, but they defintely let you know that there's a car coming up in your blind spot...it's at that time when you do a final visual check. They definitely let you see things that you normally wouldn't, IMO.

Actually, I was worry about the visibility getting worst after tinting, but it didn't really affect me much. Being a motorcyclist as well, I tend to turn my head twice when I change lanes anyways... Most of the time leaning forward while turning my head to make sure there is no car next to me... I guess call it habit... seems to work pretty well, that and also getting to know the length and width of my car by spending more time with it definately helps...

j's350z: I didn't have the greasy window issue.. at least not that I know of...

SLVR Z: It actually looked darker in the picture... when you step up to the car, you can see the inside. I think having the bright burnt orange seats definately helps...

Dlovtsur: Yes the tire need some pampering.. didn't get to it after I washed it last weekend... I think pending on weather, gonna give it the full treatment including Zaino this weekend
