Default Veilside V1 CF Front Lip (Help.. need OPINIONS!)

i am looking to purchase a veilside v1 cf lip off of my friend. the thing is i have a chrome silver z, and i want to paint the lip. would a cf lip require any more prep work than a fiberglass or urethane lip? anyone know how much it would cost to prep and paint this lip? lastly, is this going to be very fragile, seeing as how it is cf? please respond! thanks.

Painting it shouldn't be a problem. Pretty much the same process as how you paint any other part of your car. Since it's CF, it will be more fragile than an FRP or Urethane lip. Sure it looks great but once you crack or break it, not sure if you'll be able to fix it vs. an FRP or Urethane one. Main reason....is the flexibility of the material.

CF isn't worth it unless you are gonig to display it, but if you are going to paint it anyways I would get the urethene one.
