bought an '05 Z about a month ago... my first mod was 20% tints all around. now i've had a nismo replica spoiler from Ebay painted over the weekend. i'm planning to put the spoiler on myself despite the advice i've been given to have the body shop do it. just don't trust them... is there anything I NEED to know before putting it on? i've heard using a thin rubber/foam pad between the spoiler and car itself helps? and using silicon around the screws to prevent water damage. any advice would be appreciated....

 

if you have a stock spoiler, make sure your replica nismo covers all 4 holes.
i have genuine nismo spiler and it doesn't cover outside holes (2). so i had to fill up repaint whole hatch. its not fun. good luck on yours.
