Bodykits + autox and track events???
Do those of you with body kits track or auto-X your car? While my body kit doesn't have a ridiculously low overhang, I'm curisous as to how it will hold up. It's fiberglass, but it's an authentic Nismo bumper. I went to the Formula-D drift event in NJ last week. These guys would just hit a cone at 60-70mph and thier front bumper would rip right off. Sometimes it would literally look like all they did was clip the cone and off flies their bumpers. Anyone with body kits have problems racing their cars?
i have the Amuse kit on my track car, and just be prepared that your car is gonna looks like crap if you track it.
rock chips all over the bumper.
i also cracked my side skirt while i getting to close to an apex on a curb.

I have a NISMO front lip which I left unpainted specifically for that reason, it looks great and does a good job of absorbing the impact from pilons at auto-x...the front bumper on the other hand is trashed from track days...you could invest in one of the 3M invisible front covers or put masking tape all over the front before you track(looks a little silly though)
