Question JDM Front Air Dam Finisher... WTB?

My peeps... Who has the best price on one of these?

Can't find a picture, but it is essentially a carbon-look piece that attaches to the stock front lip/air dam.

Thanks!

You can try eBay. I've seen a couple of them for under $100. EVO-R have them too.

I shipped mine in from Japanparts...

but they are now available as a Nissan Accessory in the UK

surprisingly, the Japan import was cheaper than the UK price (including shipping, duty etc.)

anyone know if the finisher on Courtesy Parts is any better than the evo-r finisher? It costs almost twice the price but does it fit better or is the CF any better?

Here is the link: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=F2650-Z3300

I have the Evo-R. Fitments and finishes are decent. I dont see any reason paying more for the Courtesy one.

The "Nissan" one that Courtesy Parts sells is FAKE CF. I have one on my car. The CF pattern looks flat and has no depth to it. Definatly not worth the price.

I am re-doing my front bumper after an accident, and I am going to order the REAL CF one from Evo-R.

*edit - Courtesy might be selling a different one now... after looking at the pics. The one I got originally was the "nissan motorsports" part number, and it is just plain plastic with a painted on CF pattern...

i bought the one made by evo-r a while back and it did not fit at all so i had to return it (i hear that fitment is a common problem on parts made by the dry carrbon fiber method)...if i were to buy one again, i would just go with the one from courtesynissan cuz i am more confident that that one will fit

just because it costs more? What makes you think it will fit better?

That was the whole reason for my post. I have seen the Evo-R, it doesnt look bad but some fit and some dont. I was wondering if the CourrtesyParts version was any better. Costs significantly more than the evo-r and I wouldnt be too happy to have to send it back for poor fitment.

i have never heard of anyone returning the courtesynissan one because of it not fitting...plus, considering that it is offered as an accessory by nissan in japan and UK, gives me more confidence that fitment will not be an issue.
it does cost 2x more but it will be worth it for me to get a part that fits right.
btw when i look at that part in courtesynissan now, it's not clear whether they are offering this in real CF...i know in the past they said specifically that it was only "CF look", but they dont say this on the site anymore

Any unfit problems, we always either exchange for a new one or refund. We have a OEM bumper here in the office. All front lip cover is test fitted before shipped. So we won't have this problem anymore. Cheers!

Hmmmm? For some reason... I am not subscribed to my own thread? LOL.

At any rate..... I received my EVO-R quite a while back and posted pics in a different thread. I installed it myself along with my VARIS Intake.
Fitment was just fine IMO. They included plenty of 3M already on the piece so install was a snap:

By the way... you are looking at a front-end with nearly 3 yrs and 40k+ miles on it! Clear-Bra is my BEST mod to this day!
