why would it? never heard of it happening... if you wax it with caranuba wax Ive ehard that could yellow; but it ussually doesnt stay on long enough anyway; and that doesnt affect the paint.

If you have the regular 3M clear bra on it then the bra will develop a yellow tint

I dont think its fair to compare paint from the 80's to now. of course only 20 years will tell; but they dont use the same paint either.

Let's face it, Nissan did a horrible job with the paint job on our Z's. I wouldn't doubt in a few years it did turn yellow. 80's paint isn't actually better, but the way they applied it is. Quality now a days has decreased very bad on cars. Im not sure if most will agree with me, but it seems cars were better built back in the days and the manufactures were more meticulous in putting a car together. What we have now that makes up for that is technology, so we tend to accept things because of all the extra junk that we have I.E. Navigation, heated seats, TCS, etc... But you take a good luck at an 80's car or even go back to the 60's. And you will see the components inside and out being more strong sturdy and better finish. I can't tell you how many times I broke something little in my car because its so fragile. I believe the paint is the same thing, its a mass production so don't expect it to be something great.
