Default AC Aluminum Vent Covers

I see there was interest on these AC alumn. covers on another thread so I'm posting my pic that I took last night. I did not mean to change the subject on the other thread...The alumn. pieces are from steve.uk!

Count me in. I want some of those vent trim pieces. They look nice. Much better than one of those aluminum trim kits. They are too much.

I'm very interested in that too, but unless I mis-read I thought he said it was painted on.

The AC alumn. vent covers are from steve.uk. You need to PM him.
Here's a pic of the Z painted inside door jam that I think you were talkin' about.

No, I don't care about the ones in the door wells. I'm looking at the silver under the gauges and the two vents in the dash. That's what I want silver and will match the door handles, shifter and door handle vent.

The lower gauge pods are from BlueBatmobile...they are vinyl They are shiny looking in the shade..since I have a roadster, with the top down they do blend in with the rest of the alumn. pieces.

Thanks for bumping this rs90808!

I was trying to think of something else I could do to the interior, if you never bumped this, I would have never known about these....

So I ordered a set from a U.K. dealer for $50CDN(SWEET DEAL!) so hopefully they look good. *crosses fingers*

The place is called Holdcroft & they sell oem & afermarket parts. I actually found an auction of their's on E-Bay(E-Bay User name:2005holdcroft). It's one of the only places I trusted that sold the actual U.K. accessory, not a knock-off. They seem to have a steady supply of them.

Google search "350z aluminum air vents" & some shops should come up. Ebay was by far the cheapest for the item & shipping.

From what I understand, they are real? aluminum overlays. I will keep everyone updated as to how they are quality-wise when I get mine.

So I got my Aluminum Air vent trims a couple days ago. Its too cold here to install them at the moment( just like half the stuff in my sig.... ) but I thought I'd tell eveyone that these are made of REAL aluminum, I've held them in place & they are an EXACT fit. The quality is EXCELLENT & matches the interior PERFECTLY.

In my opinion, it was a very smart buy. The vents should have came in aluminum in the first place, but for $50 more, it was worth every penny.

Nissan Part# is: 99998-80101

Desription: Interior Styling Kit

Hey guys....WOW!, a 3year old thread brought back to life.
Just to let you all know....Steve in the UK stop selling these right after I got mine from him. At the time, Steve told me that he was making replica's of the aluminum AC vent covers that were being sold in the UK Nissan Dealers Parts Dept. So One day I called the dealer in the UK to see how much a set was selling for.
The parts mgr. was shocked that I was calling from the USA because he thought they were also available here. The price at that time was $200 US$$$ plus shipping to the USA.

So what I'm saying is....Xzero, you got a fantastic close-out price

I believe Bat only sells vinyl overlays.

Here's a pic of my interior today....

I thought he was still selling those on e-bay. Unfortunately, they were about 50 bucks which was too high for just two small aluminum cut outs.
