Wow! I can't believe this thread is still around either. I got my trim pieces from Steve more than 3 years ago and they still look great. I knew Steve stopped selling his, but I can't understand why Nissan doesn't sell its trim pieces here if Nissan is selling them in the UK.

I just bought a pair from this vendor on ebay. $49 after the USD conversion and shipping.

I always thought the top of the dash looked un-finished, and to me its worth it if I'm getting an OEM product.

I'll update after I do the install.

maybe they're not safe in the event of a head-on collision?? same reason Lexus made their wood grain break off into sections instead of splintering. but that was in 1990... things are better now.

Not safe? They are thin pieces of flat aluminum in an L shape. So thin that you have to be careful not to bend them when you are installing them. How dangerous could they possibly be?

trim.
