Black headlight housing
anyone done this before? i'm planning to do it this weekend.
i'm not sure how the headlight is sealed but if it is with some type of epoxy or glue, i'm prepared to take every step necessary to reseal it properly. some friends and i have done the same thing to the s2k headlight (installed a different reflector inside the housing) 2 years ago and still have not yet seen any condensation. my friend does decals so we used a heat gun to reseal it instead of the oven method.
i plan on painting with a flat black and than hit it with a clearcoat or some type of protective layer.
also, does anyone know if anyone sells an aftermarket reflector that replaces the stock orange one inside the housing? like maybe a clear one.

I did it with mine, using the oven. I had a how-to up at 350zfrenzy, but with the site redesign, I can't find it. As for the reflector, I hit it with a few coats of testors model paint, the transparent black for window tint, and made it smoked.
here is the link to the thread.... once it is back up, try it then
