Default Does anyone have picutres of a Nismo Graphics Kit on Daytona Blue Z?

I have searched the forums and found pictures of the Nismo Graphics Kit on a black roadster and on a white coupe. Does anyone have the kit on a Daytona Blue Z? There are two different kits. One is red, white and silver and the other is red, black and silver. The only pictures I have seen of a blue Z (on Ebay) show the red, white and silver kit. I was thinking of going with the red, black and silver kit just on the sides, not the hood. Anyone got pictures or thoughts? Thanks.

thoughts: definitely not red, black, and silver. Why do you want to cover up such a awesome color...? I'm sure you've had many people say "I like that color" to you.

In my opinion, the Nismo graphics will clash with the DB. Photoshop the look before investing in the graphics... good luck with it

I saw a DB Z last weekend while I was in VA that had the Nismo Graphics on it in red, white and silver. Thought it looked good from a distance. Problem is I didn't see it up close. I don't want to cover up the color. If I do it I am only planning to install the pieces down the side, not on the hood or the smaller Nismo decals. The side pieces are basically no bigger than a wide stripe would be. I just want to do something different and since I have the Nismo wheels I think they look good together. According to the websites that I have looked at Nissan recommends either Nismo Graphics Kit for the DB, red/white/grey or red/black/grey. I like the first combo better since everything on my car other than the blue is either red (calipers), black (grille, trim) or silver (door handles, antenna and wheels).

As for clashing there is a picture on Courtesy Nissan's website showing a DB with the red/white/grey Nismo Graphics under the Nismo section where they have the graphics listed. It doesn't look bad at all. It certainly looks better with the Nismo wheels. I just want to see some more pictures before I decide.

Hey ZPirate,
I just noticed that you have your oil and radiator caps listed under your performance mods. So how much hp do those caps make? LOL

I doubt either makes any horsepower, but the radiator cap is the Nismo high performance cap which is a much higher pressure cap than the stock radiator cap (18.2 lbs vs. 12.6 lbs). It is supposed to benefit the cooling system under higher cooling loads and conditions, so I consider it a performance mod. The oil cap really isn't. Perhaps I should move it in my sig. Just felt like putting them together.
