Default Gas Cap/lid

Anyone know if there are any places that sell metallic finished gas caps like the one found on this dodge viper for the 350z? I think it'd look great on our cars and would match well with the door handles of our cars.

I do too, and I think it suits the DB color best because the stock gas cap's color doesn't really match well with body's paint, so might as well make it match the color of your door handles.

if that could be electroplated so it was like a black chrome that would look so sick on a sb or ss Z.

We can get the aluminum gas cap pictured above .

Its made specifically for the 350z.

We get them from Germany and they are special order item.

The Aluminum Gas Caps usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to get them upon ordering.

Pm me for pricing or call 818-468-4068 to order.

Hey Paul,

I'm assuming you're talking about the one I posted above. Do they offer this in brushed aluminum to match the door handles? Please PM price for the polished aluminum posted above & a brushed aluminum if they offer it (Shipped to 94089).

Thanks!

I really like this one. I don tlike the one above in the 350zforums link cuz it says Sparco across it. Can you PM me on how much the one posted above on the Lemans car is? Can you provide information on install? Would it be self install or would a body shop have to do it? I guess we would lose the gas lid opening feature with this correct?

The sparco gas cap is different design than the one we are selling pictured above. The sparco cap will also require bodywork.

Below is what we have for a description on the gas replacement cap pictured above that we are importing.

The manufacture designs most components to attach to existing fitting points on your vehicle. We would expect this to be the case for the 350z If not we would give you a refund if its not up to par.

Nobody has one as of yet in the North America.

The first person to order will be the first .

is that one posted up top from the lemans japanese Z real metal or electroplated plastic?

cause damn I couldnt justify a plastic price of crap there, even painted. but it would look cool if it could be powdercoated black and hit with a clear coat...

Here is another option for you. Use a motorcycle type gas cap.
