I purchased sets of LED replacement bulbs from www.superbrightleds.com. The ones to replace the front and rear turn indicators are part number 7440 15-LED bulb Amber and cost $6.99 each, $13.98 a pair. Freight was $5.
First a picture for you to decide whether this is a change you want. If had to do it again I would advise against changing the bulbs out based on their brightness during the day. In my opinion they are about half as bright as the normal glass bulb which to me is a small issue. Judge for yourself

Here's a close up of the lights in the off position. You can see that the stock bulb is a bit more yellow than the LED one which shows very little if any yellow. The very center of the LED is a dark yellow/orange color.

To get to these you'll need a small screw driver and a 10mm socket or wrench.
First open the hatch and remove the tiny plastic screw covers using a small flat blade screw driver into the little slot.

Next remove the three 10mm bolts and then gently lift out the rear tail light assembly upward and out to the sides away from the body of the car. There are little tabs that latch the side and bottom of the assembly into the body.

Remove the jacks that connect the electrical system to the tail light assembly by pressing in on a small tab on each socket. These sockets are keyed so they can only go together one way.
Next reach down into the hole get at the turn indicator. Rotate the back of the turn indicator socket slightly counter clockwise and pull it out.

Next remove the glass bulb and replace the bulb with the LED. Note: before putting the bulb into the socket make sure that the LED's wires run straight along the body. As you press the LED bulbs in twist them slightly so that the ridges on the bulb slip past the tiny tabs on the bulb socket. It takes a bit of twisting and a bit of pushing to get the LED bulb in.

Replace the socket by threading the bulb into the hole and twisting slightly clockwise to lock it in place.
I plan on changing out the front lights which are going to have a much bigger visible effect as the yellow of the front lights are very noticeable with the clear lens.
Well after dark and the LED's do look bright enough. Compare them to the stock rear parking lights which are pretty bight. Also notice the how clean the LED replacements look for the license plate light. These are dead nutz simple to replace - you simple wiggle their housings a bit side-to-side and they'll drop down. They're part number WLED 6-LED bulb and are $3.64 each.
-I've blurred the center numbers of my plate out - that's not a defect!-

PS: How to change out the high beams will show you how to get to the front turn signals:

Looking at the night pictures you can see that they're bright enough for evening use. I would be more worried about my brake lights as half the people on the planet have NEVER used their turn indictors and they're still alive (and cutting me off in traffic!).
Why not get the Evostyle Chromed lens single filament bulbs? They are bright, beautiful, and show no signs of amber when off. Perfect for the chrome housing in the front headlight assembly.

Are you planning on doing your tail-lights also? I have heard that there isn't much difference between parking lights on and actual braking. I would like to see some comparison pics of that if anyone has em.
