Default Question regarding bodykit and also resale

Two quick questions:

1. For those of you with a bodykit and lowered, how do you lift your car to do things like oil change? Do you have to make a custom ramp to get it up a bit?

2. How's the resale value of a bodykit? Say the Do-Luck kit is $2,700 shipped to me...then gotta pay to paint/install...what could I expect to sell it for in the future?

1. The shop have to put in a custom ramp (stick of wood or metal) then i run up.
2. expect to lost 20 to 25% (if they still new and in good condition)

I meant like lifting the car up on our own. Did you guys use any special ramps you can buy? or did you make something, etc?

LOL.. D

I'm not sure if your aware.. but Kelly, myself and a few others take our Z's to the Ferrari dealership in Dulles. Just ask for Willie, and tell him Mike sent ya.

I use them for oil changes, alignments and inspections. They have the lifts that are completely flush with the ground. Once you kit and lower your car... getting it on a regular lift is tricky. I used to drive up on a LONG 2x4 then I was able to sneak the lift's arms under my car.

For me its easier to just take it to Ferrari. Plus they wash your car REALY nice (no brooms or abrasive cloths) after each oil change

Lol, alright, what happens if you pop a tire driving to a show lol? I was thinking something like the 2x4 idea just to get the stock jack under there.

How much does Ferrari charge you guys for an oil change?

Oh and by the way, if you guys are near the Ferrari dealership during a weekday, let me know, I work accross the street at AOL!

I found that the stock jack will fit under a lowered z with side skirts at an angle.

It is doable it takes a bit of arseing about though.

You could take the kit off and sell it private to get the money back
