I got mine in today and installed them... I got both the Xenon interior and silver turn signals. Total install took about 20 mins.

I could definatley tell that these bulbs are not as bright as the originals... I could barely see the turn signals in the daylight. I'll have to check out the difference at night and post the results...

The four LED bulb fits perfectly. I've got a pair of 6 LED ones on order from AutoLumination to see if they'll fit.
Are you referring to the 6 LED ones shown on the top of this page: http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm ?

How did they fit and look? Thanks!

i just replaced my dome lights too. i got the 7 color roating LED bulbs from autozone. the bulb rotates 7 LED colors. red, blue, green, and other colors that i cant remember lol. it gradually changes to the next color.

i wanted the 2 bulbs to rotate colors together but it doesnt. i just wanted to spiffen up the interrior a little bit so it doesnt really matter. just fo' sho', you heard lol.

I found the list he posted. I printed off what he ordered:
(2) WLED-6-LED Bulb (red)-rear parking lights
(4) WLED-6-LED Bulb (white)-2 for front parking and 2 for rear license
(2) 7443-15 LED Blub (red)-brake/tail lights
(4) 7440-15 LED Bulb (amber)-front and rear turn signals
(2) 7440-15 LED Bulb (white)-reverse lights

Total cost was $85.46 with shipping

The only thing that I didn't see on his list was for the front side markers.

Yup that was me. I ordered the festoon bulbs from there too, but afterwards, so whats why they aren't on that list. The 4 LED ones work fantastic. Give off a bright light with a bluish hue thats very bright and look alot "cooler" than the factory bulb. Only drawback is you lose the slow fade to off when you lock the doors. They just fade for a split second then just shut off completely.

Also you don't see an application for the front side markers because they dont use bulbs LoL they are just reflectors.

Dr Bonz, I definitely recommend the LED's I got for yoru license plate lights too. Can we say bright?!?? You can see my Miami heat plate at night from quite a distance!

The only bulbs I changed to LED that I regret (and as a matter of fact tomorrow im putting the stock bulbs back in) are the brake/tail light bulb. The factory bulb is a dual filament bright/low for brake/taillight. It sits in the factory housing pointing straight up. This causes a huge problem cause LED bulbs are directional. Also the other major porblem, which is the biggest one, is that the difference between tail and brake light operation is very minimal. When you press the brakes the brake lights only get slightly brighter. At night its not such a big a deal but during the day the difference is almost imperceptible. You can tell im braking mostly because of the 3rd brakelight lighting up and not because of the brightness difference on the brake lights themselves.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask them here or PM me.

Have a look at these instead.

$7 each x 2

I bought one of these for $20 and I'm going to see if I can get it to fit inside the dome light.

I had bulbs from the vision GB and they were clearly not xenon. They were white and about half as bright as stock so they have been removed. I am also not arguing the over marketing and outright lying of lots of companies as to the type of bulbs they are selling.

But, there are filament bulbs with Xenon gas in them that are brighter than halogen and don't need 20000 volts to fire. I have had an underwater flashlight for years that is blighter than halogens of the same wattage using the same batteries, very white and does not have any kind of blue coating on the bulb. What the HIDs do and why they need a ballast to start is they don't use a filament, the ballast is used to get the arc started access an open gap and once on, the electricity continues to flow and produce light. If you have a fillement, you don't need the arc.

LED dome bulbs Pros and Cons

The 6 LED type are bright, real bright but you loose the fade out of the incandescent bulbs so it comes on hard and goes off hard. Also, on mine anyway, when it's dark out I notice that they sometimes glow real faint. They are coming out soon.

So far I have not found dome light bulbs I like better than stock.

I thinking about getting 7440-15 LED bulbs (amber)-front and rear turn signals. Do I need to get the load resistor kit? The LEDs are not going to blink super fast are they?

Good question, it's not on that page from my previous link that tells you bulb sizes for all the cars.

Take it to an Autozone/Kragen/Napa Auto Parts, and match it up or ask the person behind the counter.

I just purchased 5 of those LED bulbs last night. 2 for the license plate, 2 for the parking lights (in the headlights), 1 for the cargo area in the hatch (the stock bulb SUCKS). I hope those 5 LED, star pattern, fit into the assemblies I chose the 5 LED, star pattern, because of their wide, 180degree, light angle. I will post more info when I get them!

Doc (don't think you come here anymore though), xenon bulbs are filled with xenon gas and don't come in non-headlight applications. These here create a white-ish light simply by filtering light through a blue housing.

Captain obvious strikes again!
