On a stock height Z, how much lower is the front of the z with a v1 lip installed? I have no problem at all with speed bumps or driveways in my area, would a v1 lip give me problems?

About an inch lower. I have V1 lip with Nismo suspension. Don't really have any problems. Need to be a little careful over speed bumps, etc. but no trouble over most surfaces.

 

I have S-Tech springs with the V1 lip, no scraping .

I'm running on Hotchkis springs & no scraping. It doesn't hang lower like most kits & doesn't stick out as much either. You'll just have to watch out for those parking blocks & keep your distance.

 

yeah, when you are thinking about lips and scraping you gotta consider that they not only hang down but also stick out

 

Yea, i dont think i will have a problem with the sticking out. I was just wondering about the height.

If you look underneath your bumper you'll see this plastic tab along the front end. The actual V1 lip hangs about 3/4 to 1" under it.

The ground effect comes from the lip sticking forward a couple inches. I've taken my lip to hell and back at stock height, but now I'm lowered.
Whenever it scrapes, it's usually on the bottom, unoticeable portion.

It helps to have the polyurethane one.
