Driving long distances in your Z?
If you do, you no doubt understand the need for more comfortable armrests in order to rest your arm while holding the wheel.
I took delivery of my 350 and immediately drove 14 hours to my home. I knew I had to do something fast. See the photo below. I added 2" to the height of both door armrests. The cover is leather.
Anyone interested in getting a set? I can get them for you in NICE leather for $200.00 per set (with exchange) from the guy who made mine.
Contact me if you are interested.

It reminds me of one of those platform shoes people were when one leg is shorter. Do you have an automatic? I really never use the armrest as I seem to have my left hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter. I used to drive righthanded now I am driving lefthanded.

I went to the store & bought 2 loaves of Wonder Bread, it did the trick, I even made a sandwich while I was on the road & still had enough armrest left to make the trip back home

HA! real leather; itd be the first thing in the Z that was real leather. probably wouldnt match.
I dont totally understand what makes it so expensive, dont you just screw a block covered in leather to the old platform? maybe a 1.00 for the material its made of and then the covering? or is this a more intricate design that Im missing?

I have seen it in person and it is remarkable. The fit and finish is perfect. It feels very good too. You can hold the wheel at 7 or 8 o'clock while your arm rests on the comfy padding. If you noticed he said with exchange, I am sure there was some hard work involved to create this piece. The leather was cut and stitched to fit. The padding is cut (or molded) perfectly. Very very nice indeed.

dougrace zs,
Any ideas for some type of fabricated cup holder within easy reach of the driver? Are you guys working on that, too?
Armrest looks good.

Wow, that looks great. Very well made. I haven't noticed that it's a problem, I'll have to pay more attention the next time I go drive.
Looks very nice though.

Looks great, and I have noticed that my arm kind of hangs uncomfortably on the left. Great idea, rediculas price. I'll see if I can get a drivers left and drivers right built locally. I don't care about the passenger side. Who knows, maybe $200 is a good price, but I need to do a little research first.
