I want to sand down the dash, prime it, and paint; however I was wondering what types of problems, (if any), people have run into. Thanks.

OMG HOW MANY POSTS NEED TO BE ON THIS TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
heres the problems you will run into.
1. Your paint could turn out drippy cuz youll undoubtedly be using a rattle can. I along with maybe 1 or 2 other members on here have custom painting guns and so we dont experience these types of problems.
2. You could end up with a TON of orange peel. this is when your paint is not perfectly smooth and has this orange peel bumpy texture to it.
3. Your clear could end up being hazy and not look professional at all. It takes allot of practice to learn how to custom paint stuff, its not just about following the steps, you need to have the touch if you want it to look professionally.
4. You could spend money trying to do it yourself, and end up messing it up or not being happy with it and end up taking it toa professional and paying even more money to fix something that you messed up.
5. Your paint and clears could be unevenly matched and you would end up seing extreme amount of wear in a short amount of time, and also chipping of the paint.
6. You could pick the incorrect paint types and end up with paint that looks like plastic wrap because the paints did not mesh well together.
GL tho!
