Mixing and Matching Body Kits
Do you guys think it would be ok to mix and match diffrent parts from diffrent companys?
Such as:
the Nismo front bumper
the ings side skirts
and another companys rear (I havent found a simple rear end I like so far)
Yea or nay?

BTW, why did this get moved to the mod section?
It has just as much right as the 3 or more body kit threads on the gen section right now. Oh well.

Btw mixing and matching body kits is fine and dandy as long as the lines on the whole thing match and or you like the look, its all about you and how you feel about it. You bought your car for you after all right? What I find odd is that there isnt many custom import car builders like there is street and hot rod builders. Not many guys you can go to and take a drawing of what you want and have them build it for you. Might be a nice business venture

Wow, the Japanese just go CRAZY on their body kits...
Check out this front end for the Central 20 kit... The backend looks great, but the front looks like a total Celica knockoff... (although I would like to see more companies figuring out how to integrate foglights in to their aftermarket front ends). . .
Also, in terms of your original post, I would strongly reccomend not mixing and matching kits... wings are fine, they are basically up to your discretion. But with the kits, certain arcs and forms appear throughout a well designed kit, which won't be continued when you mix up different brands. Of course - its all in the eye of the beholder. But I wouldn't do ANYTHING until I saw the kits that I was going to try to mix and match, up close & personal (actually I feel the same way about even doing a single brand kit, you gotta see a kit in person to get the sense of scale and shape)...
Anyways, good luck!

I personally like the Nismo side skirts and the stock front bumper with Veilside front lip.
I am still undecided about the rear under spoilers. So far, for me, the Veilside looks the best but I am not in love with it. The Central 20 is interesting but I think the lines don't match with the Nismo side skirts.
