Default Black top and silverstone?

Good different or Bad different? Opinions? I'm getting my front bumper repainted because of rock chips and this is an idea I've been tossing around.

I don't like it. It looks ugly.

In the new issue of Modified Magazine they have their widebody 350Z that is also two-tone and it looks pretty good though. Its a dark red top color on silver.

I dig it. But then again, I'm weird about those things.
However, it will look odd where the deck-lid curves down and meets the rear bumper.

I think you should stick with the CF hood only.

I like the flat black look on the top. Gloss black wouldn't look as good IMHO.

Default kernel

the black roof would look hot on that car. w/ the spoiler, you can get away with that easily.

disagree with the flat black though. flat black in that big of an area w/ gloss or pearl colors doesn't look right. flack black w/ flat grey yes. there's a vw mkIII golf in my town that has flat black on gloss yellow and it looks soooo bad. the concept is good and it's done well, it just needs a gloss to it.

well with a carbon fiber hood, and a carbon fiber rear hatch, a carbon fiber roof with carbon fiber a and b pillers would look prime especially with a wing... i dunno, it looks like it would be nice...

Thanks.

As for the suggestion for a carbon fiber rear hatch, a carbon fiber roof with carbon fiber a and b pillers, that's a little out of budget, haha. I agree though, it would look nice. Although I don't believe they make a carbon fiber roof.

On that note, does anyone know where to buy a carbon fiber v1 front lip?

Your car looks better in the pics without the carbon fiber hood.

The roof was carbon fiber or was it painted black?

I would probably just paint the roof itself black to match the hood. That way, the dark scheme runs up the CF hood, front windshield, roof, and ends at the rear window.

I think the two tone looks amazing. There are so many Z's on the road, it will make yours stand out(in a good way)!!!
