Overhead Festoon LED lights II
#23
Good find let me go order some. I never need to read anything intensly in the dark, so I think i can live with them. It was funny, i'm leaving school and a 5series drives by. They come stock with an LED in the Rear view mirror in Red to use as a mood light. I was like "hmm that looks cool, wonder if the z has one".
thx.
thx.

yeah they do have a bluish/purple tint. I also noticed that my passenger side led i put in is a slightly lighter dimmer color

Paul, do you know what I can replace the exterior rear license plate lights with? Is there an LED alternative?
I like the look of the new Lexus GS's lights- they appear to have led (super white) lights for the license.

I've replaced my parking lights 3 times already.
License plate, twice, eventually went back to regular ones because they start flickering.
my turn signal up front seems like 1-2 of the 15 LED bulbs is out. The rears i don't know since I can't see them (same thing with the brake light).
So don't buy these bulbs if you expect them to last you a long time, they don't. But they do look cool when you first put them on

Unless you buy some Luxeon LEDs (like the ones Ares used to make, dunno if he makes them anymore though).
