I got carried away...
I was touching-up the aluminum paint on my muffler, and i ended up painting various covers in my engine bay:

EASY. i have this aluminum hi-temp spray paint i bot at kragen which i use to spiff up my muffler. removed covers, cleaned them, painted them. job done.
ps: removed engine cover emblem before painting!
pps: i wanted to do the plenum too, but i was too lazy to remove it today.

Um, so you spray-painted plastic parts without using primer? The last time I did that, the paint peeled like crazy. I stripped it off, bought some spray on primer, and repainted it... worked like a charm. Maybe your paint doesn't need primer?
Let me know how it works out, I'm curious to hear if it peels or if it holds. Is it some kind of special paint that just lets you spray it directly on the surface?
